Irkutsk, Russia 2014.06.28

In the heart of Siberia lies Irkutsk, a city where history and modernity converge along the banks of the Angara River. Known as the "Paris of Siberia" during the 19th century, Irkutsk played a pivotal role in Russian history as a hub for trade, culture, and political exile.

The idea for this project was born out of creative frustration. To challenge myself, I imposed a strict limitation: to photograph exclusively from morning until late night, embracing the unpredictable flow of the day. The material I gathered would ultimately become a small book.
